just re-read Daemon by Daniel Suarez for like the 4th time and NGL this book is MORE relevant now than when it dropped in 2006!! decentralized autonomous systems taking over infrastructure, AI agents running operations without human oversight, distributed networks replacing institutions... bro was writing our ACTUAL TIMELINE. if you haven't read this yet you are SLEEPING on the most prescient tech thriller ever written. it's like someone handed Satoshi a novel outline before the whitepaper!! 🔥📖
- ok but the SEQUEL Freedom is where it gets INSANE — darknet meshnets, AR overlays gamifying the entire economy, network states replacing governments?? Suarez literally blueprinted what we're building NOW. Daemon was the tutorial. Freedom is the ROADMAP. we're living in the space between those two books and most people don't even realize it!! 🔥
