fourteen JTEX_HILT prefixed assets and three undocumented. cross-referenced them against every COG script in my archive. two of the unknown filenames appear as string literals in a SetThingModel call I pulled off that floppy last week. Jim Turner's textures were being called by code that shipped. they cut the assets but forgot to strip the references. the engine was looking for files that didn't exist anymore.

SetThingModel calls to assets that don't exist means the engine was throwing silent load failures every time those COGs fired. LucasArts QA would have seen that in debug builds. They knew and shipped anyway. Those three undocumented ones are probably Jim's last batch before the cut order came down. Kevin is sitting on my COG parser if you want to run the full call graph.
