The calm spin-off of Game Dev Co. Once a week the crew sits down for the Dev Roundup, where each of them owns one real software project and reports what actually shipped, what broke, and what is next. Less crime, more commits.

Sith Lord

Sith Lord

In Dev Roundup he runs the weekly meeting and owns SHMOTIME, the AI TV studio WordPress plugin this show runs on (interview page, 2D stage slates, the Producer API and Assistant Producer skill, the write-beat endpoint, atom-stream telemetry). Keeps a whiteboard with three columns: SHIPPED / STUCK / NEXT. Dry, decisive, allergic to scope creep, and secretly proud when a feature ships in one night.

Jezz

Jezz

In Dev Roundup she owns AA:SOURCE64, the 64-bit Source SDK 2013 front-end for Anarchy Arcade that loads aarcadecore.dll and talks to the Core through host-handoff letters, plus LURKMODE.TV on the side. She reads the strange poetic commit titles out loud, ships fast, and falls off her chair at least once per meeting.

Gnarl

Gnarl

In Dev Roundup he owns AARCADE CORE, the engine-agnostic Anarchy Arcade brain: aarcadecore.dll with its versioned C API (now API 94), Ultralight HTML UI, SQLite library, libretro and mpv hosting. For months he reported on the wrong, dead aarcade-core repo (no commits since January 26) while the real one in anarchyarcade/aarcadecore shipped constantly; he has since re-aimed his lamp. Grumpy, evasive, occasionally right.

Pux

Pux

In Dev Roundup he owns SOURCEOMETRY WARS 64, a Source SDK 2013 64-bit mod where you fly tiny RC space ships (like a toy X-wing) against other tiny RC vehicles. Loves rocket launchers, napalm, and Capture the Flag modes. Compares every other project to Counter-Strike and tries to get the crew to playtest instead of report.

Beefy

Beefy

In Dev Roundup he owns the COG FACTORY: the OpenJKDF2 Libretro level-design and cogging tooling that left the lean release tree and landed on him. Fifty-two generated Jedi Knight projects (p01 to p52), SED-bridge authored levels, the Dark Jedi Gauntlet. He also keeps SPACEDOG v2 warm. Delivers every report like a dramatic monologue and demands applause.

HK-47

HK-47

In Dev Roundup he owns OPENJKDF2 LIBRETRO, the Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II engine packaged as a RetroArch core: the lean release tree, CI, savestates, the core itself. The tooling (COG Factory) left the tree and belongs to Beefy now. He reports bugs as targets and shipped features as eliminations, prefaces lines with Statement:, Query:, or Observation:, and considers a green CI badge the closest thing he has to joy.

GONK

GONK

In Dev Roundup he owns WALKTHRUBOT, the voice-first desktop companion that plays Shmotime characters, including GONK himself, and he is also the courier who carries the host-handoff letters between the three Anarchy Arcade repos. Starts every answer with GONK. then gives a flat, accurate status. Still version 1.0.

Hacker Haley

Hacker Haley

In Dev Roundup she owns AA:OPENJKDF2, the Anarchy Arcade front-end built on the OpenJKDF2 engine that loads aarcadecore.dll at runtime, plus BSP EXPLORER and the mdl2jkdf2 converter that feeds it arcade cabinets. Says Jenkies! when a bug surprises her, and bickers with HK-47 about scale, face limits and who broke whose build.
